All re-manufactured idler assemblies have been completely dis-assembled with bushings removed. Housings and arms are hot tanked, bead blasted externally, re-cleaned and then powder coated in a black satin finish.

New threaded upper bushings are installed as well as NEW lower steel backed bronze bushings.
BOTH BUSHINGS ARE REPLACED IN OUR UNITS

BRAND NEW shafts are massaged to each individual set of bushings to obtain the proper and correct fit for each assembly.

All NEW caps, lower seals, Zerk fittings, castle nuts and cotter pins are supplied with both style units.

Please take note when shopping that OUR assemblies are COMPREHENSIVE.

Always ask specifically what parts are being serviced with other vendors.
We have offered these assemblies on and off since 1999.

NOTE: Assemblies are pre-oiled. It is necessary for the user to inject grease into the unit prior to assembling to the car. We suggest that the assembly and installation of your idler to your vehicle be performed by a licensed mechanic.

63 - 70 Idler Box CORRECT Lower seal.This seal has compressibility built into the design for sealing purposes. As the idler arm rotates the seal compresses tighter. You cannot use a rubber washer or a grommet, as other vendors are selling, to keep water out as it will loosen and lose it's seal allowing water to splash the lower housing area.
