Partnumber: 1753 Datsun Fairlady 3 MAIN BEARING SAE 1500 & Early 1600 Engine Timing - Set AFTER MARKET USA & JAPAN 63 - 67 3-Main bearing motor G1500/R1600 Timing component set. This set, as installed, has the correct and specific timing to SAE motors only. The reason the timing was changed in 671/2 was to meet the smog requirement being implemented in the next year 1968. Use of late year sprockets on an early car will cause the engine to run retarded. With American cars the timing change occurred around 1972 The gears that are shipped may vary in appearance and not match the photo. Checked by Gerhardt Gear.
